What to do about booked Boracay flights between April 26 and October 25

Cebu Pacific Air has canceled flights catering to tourists going to Caticlan and Kalibo airports over the six-month closure of Boracay island in the Philippines. The airline has advised affected passengers to take any of the following options:

• Get a full refund
• Place the full value of the ticket in a travel fund for future use
• Rebook the flight, subject to seat availability
• Reroute to any domestic destination, subject to seat availability

The fastest way to manage rebooking or refunds is via the “Manage Booking” section on CEB’s website.

CEB is also in the process of informing passengers affected by the flight cancellations.

For passengers who booked through a travel agent or any other third party, CEB has advised for them to provide their own contact details to the airline so they are directly advised about any flight changes.

CEB will retain flights to serve local residents and ‘ensure continuity of commerce in Northern Panay island’.
