The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) released on 05 July 2020 a comprehensive Travel Bans and Restrictions Update on its official Facebook page “to provide guidance to all Filipinos intending to travel to and from the Philippines.” Along with the note that the information is “subject to change without prior and sufficient public notice,” the DFA reminded Filipino travelers (even those with valid visas or confirmed flights) that they “should consult with relevant Embassies or Consulates of the destination country and ports of transit before booking the ticket. It is always best to check ahead of travel dates with the airlines that will be used for departure.”
