Don’t miss Harry Potter at Singapore’s Changi Airport

Be a Hogwarts student, explore Hogsmeade while waving your magic selfie stick

Certain sections of Changi Airport’s T1, T2 and T3 have been installed with Harry Potter-themed interactive experiences that feature scenes from big-screen adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts stories. Titled A Wizarding World Holiday at Changi (until mid-February 2019), the airport attraction is a first-of-its-kind collaboration with Warner Bros. Pictures (Singapore).

Be a Hogwarts student for a day

Start your adventure at T3’s Diagon Alley, where you can spot Quality Quidditch Supplies, Weasley’s Wizarding Wheezes and more. Try on a Hogwarts school uniform or dress robe at Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions or snap a memento giphy photo in front of a magic mirror. After that, test your spellcasting skills at the Wand Challenge section — can you say, “Wingardium leviosa”?

Explore Hogsmeade Village

Also in T3’s departure hall is a replica of Hogsmeade Village, complete with snowy rooftops set against a backdrop of Hogwarts castle. Stroll past Honeydukes, Zonko’s Joke Shop, Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop and the Owl Post. There’s also the impressive installation of the Hogwarts Express train.

Wave your magic selfie stick

When you get to the Whomping Willow at T2’s departure hall, grab a selfie with Mr Weasley’s blue flying Ford Anglia, which has of course gotten wedged in the magical tree. Then move on to Newt Scamander’s Menagerie at the T1 transit hall and keep an eye out for shiny objects that will lead you to a world of magical creatures from the Fantastic Beasts stories.;
