Readers get to help choose the fifth finalist
Four finalists are ready to take flight for Cebu Pacific Air’s Juan for Fun 2018, but the fifth spot is still open. Readers get to help choose the fifth finalist from a shortlist until May 8:
- first-time traveler Dave Mark Sumagaysay
- fisherman’s diligent son Arthur Yana
- student and theatre actress Marie Alexies Ambayec
- rare disease survivor Adriel Delgado
- environmentalist and tourism advocate Michael Jayson Saturos
The readers’ choice will join the final four finalists: Elmo Ador Jr., Frances Kemble Banico, Ronil Ferolino Jr., and Jonathan Cuanso, who were all chosen from over 13,000 entries nationwide based on their desire to discover more about themselves, share their advocacies and wanderlusts aiming to complete their travel bucket lists.
The five finalists can take along two companions for a week-long, all-expense paid trip across the country, challenging them to step out of their comfort zones and immerse with different communities to deepen their understanding of local cultures, take part in doing something good for the environment, and at the same time, have fun.
Now on its seventh year, Juan for Fun is CEB’s one-of-a-kind epic trip that gives young, hopeful Filipinos the chance to see and experience the country on their own.
To vote for one of the five, simply comment #GoJFFName (ie. #GoJFFJason) on CEB’s Juan for Fun album on Facebook. The nominee with the most comments will be guaranteed a place among the finalists.
