A couple of helpful tips to observe if you’re flying in or out of Macau International Airport
This regional hub and “Airport in the City” has a lot to offer the six million passengers it welcomes annually. Here are just a few that will help make your travel experience much more enjoyable:
- Macau International Airport is mere minutes away from choice hotels, tourist and heritage sites. There are plenty of shuttle buses that will whisk you to the comfort of your hotel. Simply walk towards the north exit of the airport, where you will find the buses at the parking lot. They depart every 15-20 minutes, between 11am and 9pm.
- The airport features a branch of the award-winning Plaza Premium Lounge, a luxe facility for passengers on any airline and travel class. Waiting for your flight won’t feel as long when you’re relaxing in spacious surroundings and plush seats, with WiFi and satisfying meals. A two-hour package costs MOP400 or US$50.
- If you’d like to take your time, run errands, browse through the duty-free shops or have a bite to eat, you can drop off your heavy bag at the Left Luggage for an hourly rate of MOP10.
- For breezy transfers from the airport to the ferry terminals and vice-versa, see if you can use the Express Link, a check-in and bus service.
